As MedinN said, in November 2000, NiP underwent a huge change by changing its name to e9 and joining the EYEballers club. Joining e9 on the team are: Potti, Hyb, Pk, Kuros, Cogline, Medion, Ammis, Trasan, Bullet, kulspruta and Tootzi. With the support of EYE and its sponsors, e9 is finally able to participate in various CS competitions. In early 2000, e9 participated in the first CPL Europe event in Kraugny, Germany. On January 25, 2001, e9's CS team ceased to exist. Tootzi, Ammis, Kulspruta, Trasan and Nostril joined the smile team, while Potti, Medion, Cogline, Hyb and Kuros joined clan9 (i.e. c9 or team9) and became clan9's CS team members. It was at this time that two of the greatest players in CS history, HeatoN and XeqtR, joined the newly established c9 (HeatoN came from Nostradamus, and XeqtR came from SoA, which had defeated the former e9).
