Founded in the 1950s, restored in the 1970s, and revitalized in the 1980s, Fengcheng No. 2 Middle School has now entered the fast lane of high school education in Fengcheng City. In November 2005, Leng Xinsheng, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, visited the No. 2 Middle School to work on-site and proposed the development plan of “making the No. 2 Middle School stronger, bigger and better” and gave instructions on the following: Increase hardware construction and expand campus area. The original campus area of 62 acres has been expanded to 186 acres, and more than 38 million yuan has been invested to build new student apartments, canteens, modern teaching buildings, library and information complex buildings, and various standard sports facilities.
